George Langford And His Fossils, [An Appendix] by Sydne Holmes

Page
Topic

My father, George Langford, Jr., put together a selection of his mother's [Sydne Holmes Langford] notes that she prepared for the talks that she gave before various groups when her very shy husband, George Langford, Sr. was invited to speak about his efforts in fossil collecting.

These notes may help to explain how the collecting of fossils fit in with his family and business life as well as how he developed his own special process of preparing, identifying, and publishing the data obtained from the fossils.
