Millers Falls No.2 Eggbeater Drill Type Study

Type M

Here is a more clearly original drill, although it still bears no Millers Falls marks. Even the chuck, which is mounted on a tapered shank that fits the hole in the spindle of the drill, bears no maker's marks. The chuck is a simple two-jaw affair that has not been seen elsewhere. The main gear wheel has the same number and pitch of teeth as the earlier and later models, but the face of the gear wheel is smooth, unlike those other gears.
