Types C and B Crank Handles
Type
B's crank handle (at left/below) is long, made of rosewood, and has no
ferrule. Type B's crank (at right/above) has the same general shape as
the Type B's third handle, is generic wood coated with red lacquer, and
has a steel ferrule. Each one is held onto the stamped sheet steel
crank
with a headed pin that is riveted (none too securely) in place.
