Saw-39
Price: $250.00 plus shipping

Condition: Fairly straight, sharp enough, smooth, with some pitting along the top edge of the blade. I scraped all the red rust off with a sharpened chisel; the bright streaks were made by the chisel's corners before I learned to make its edge curved. They aren't gouges - just places where the blade lifted the hard magnetite. The inchworm stamp is the best you're going to see anywhere, I think. It reads Henry Disston, Philada, 7, Cast Steel, Warranted.  There is a tiny remnant of the nib.
The blade is hand stamped, "A.A. Day" along the top edge in two places.

The beech handle is nearly perfect, except for remnants of brittle yellow paint, most of which I picked off with the chisel, and a tiny chip in the upper horn.
The medallion does not exactly match any of the examples shown on the Disstonian Institute webpage.

The medallion dates from the middle 1800's, according to Erik von Sneidern's Disstonian Institute.
There is a small dent in the top edge of the blade and a small kink near the tip of the blade; Note the split nuts.
