J. Wiss & Sons Model A pinking shears

These are possibly the ugliest scissors ever made 
(but see the pair marked "LeBeck" - Shears-12).
The three patents stamped on the frame are the same three used by Wiss for their standard model (see Shears-14) but I was able to find one of the "Pats Pending" and that is U.S. Patent No. 2,607,986 excerpted below.  This patent covers an improved method for machining the serrated blades which are inserted into the forged aluminum frames.
This pair has been engraved "RCAF" on one of those steel blades.  One steel rivet has been replaced with an aluminum one.  The shears are otherwise fully functional.
