John S. Fray |
According to the the Directory of American Tool & Machinery Patents, John S. Fray was awarded a dozen patents, two-thirds of which are related to braces, but only four of those are represented here. After the purchase of the Fray company by the Stanley Works, Stanley continued to make braces with Fray-made and -markedparts until they were all used up. This sequence is best visualized in the series of braces: 51, 123, 124, 135 and 118, 121. |
