[You can search (i.e., leaf through endlessly ...) the Maryland counties' land records indexes by starting at the link at right; however, Maryand requires you to apply for a username and password, which takes about a day to process.  Once you get past the early, mostly blank index pages, you will arrive at page 2 of the first book (at least, that's what happens when you search Kent County's index book ...) This index may save you a lot of tedium when you actually go to the site where the records are stored - GL,III, ed.]

[I recently purchased a voice-to-text software program which I hope to use to complete the translations which Father started here.  Without the translations, you will find it difficult to understand what each document actually records.  I have picked out names, locations and dates which may help you to locate where in these documents to start - GL,III, ed.]
