To my knowledge, no genealogy of the Toas family has been written.  My modest Excursus IX: Toas is the result of assembling small bits and pieces of gleaning over a fifty-year period, as my Sources list attests.

To wife Sarah and son Daniel: Plantation equally during life of sd. wife; son Daniel to have entire plantation at death of sd. wife.
To 3 child., viz. sons Daniel and Charles and dau. Sarah, and their hrs., residue of real estate except certain lands in Pa., which testator orders sold.  Son Charles and dau. Sarah to inherit at majority.
Wife & 3 child. afsd. to have personal property equally.
Exc.: Wife & 2 sons afsd.
Test.: Peter Sawyer, Andrew Imbert, Florence Sullivan, Edw. Moel, Jas. Kelly.
Note: Henry Toas' Will is the only reference to him that I have found in the Maryland records.  I have not researched the Pennsylvania records, nor the English records. [Ed.]

Daniel Toaes (Toas)  patents a 3,000 acre tract called Partnership in Kent County, Md. (adjacent to a tract called Honberry owned by Humphrey Davenport) carved out of a tract laid out by John Llewellyn and sold by Llewellyn to Toaes for 16,000 pounds of tobacco. Maryland Assembly repeals 1711 Act.  Also confirms title of 300 acre portion of 1,500 acre part of "New Minister" to Peter Massey and Sarah, his wife.  Also confirms title of 1,200 acre part of "New Minister" sold to Richard Thatcher by Peter Massey and Sarah, his wife.
