OVERHEAD TRAMWAY.

On page 127 see cut of single track overhead rail (as page 129), showing SWITCH and TURN-TABLE in use. Also, on page 128, our method of transferring at right angles to any point along main track; on page 131 (below, right center) 132 (below, right center) traveller and hoist, as used on bottom flange of eye beam (below, far right) or plain rail of bar iron (below, far left). With overhead track, hoist and geared traveller two men can handle a large casting much easier than six men the old way. We are also prepared to furnish a travelling bridge (page 124) where railway is not desirable.
