FACING LATHES.

These lathes have all the features of those of same swing on preceding pages, excepting tail stock and screw cutting attachments; are very convenient for a large range of short work such as packing-rings and cylinder covers, steam and water valves, etc. By use of side block and regular tool block at same time, such work as packing rings may be turned and bored or cut off and faced at same time.
