48-INCH RADIAL DRILL.

Will drill to center of 82 inches diameter; strongly and carefully built with special attention to strength and accuracy when drilling at end-of arm. Attention is particularly requested to counter-balance of spindle, which is always constant and does not interfere with belts or near-by objects; large, heavy column and broad base, 64x32 inches; radial arm on column and drill head carefully fitted. Spindle has quick return with traverse of 14 inches; self-oiling reservoir on end insures lubrication of washers; bored for Morse Standard Twist Drill Taper; 3 changes automatic geared feed; table 29x18 on top and 14 inches deep on two sides; with T slots for clamping work; raises and lowers 14 inches; longest distance spindle to base, 52 inches; spindle to table 28½ inches. Countershaft; hangers; pulleys, 14x3½, to run 200 turns per minute.
