1/4 inch capacity three-jaw spring chuck was never patented. It is
designed
quite similarly to the chuck shown in the Lanfair patent of August 13,
1895, but was probably made before 1896 when Millers Falls patented
their
springless three-jaw chuck design on September 29th. This chuck's
springs
are lost. |
