Two patent dates; flat-top sides.
Knob & tote are both OK; very dark blue-black patina on bed.  Except for the chipped bottom edge of Bed Rock lever cap (the "screwdriver" effect) and the three filed notches in the left-hand rail behind the tote, all castings are free of cracks or defects.  About 85% japanning remains.
