This nice plane has 99% japanning, the correct blade, a dark blue black patina, and no cracks or pits in the metal. There are a few dings in the left cheek, and the tote has been repaired: http://www.georgesbasement.com/fixatote.htm
The knob has some tight cracks around the base. The front of the mouth is sharp, so you can set this plane's frog so the blade edge has the minimal clearance needed for working against the grain or in gnarly wood.
