Sherman Saw Works No.78 rip saw
Back side of saw
Handle - front
Handle - back

Saw-52
Price: $85.00 plus shipping

Condition: Straight, fairly sharp, smooth, and scraped free of red rust with a sharpened, curved-edge chisel. One female saw nut is missing. The blade's etch identifies the maker and model of the saw and is readable, but photographs poorly.

The beech handle has most of its original finish and minimal damage, except for a small chip off the upper horn.
There is a portion of a stencil on the back of the handle, suggesting that this was either a tool-crib saw or from a school's workshop.
