Condition: Dead straight, sharp & smooth, with a clearly readable etch. With much of the original height lost to repeated sharpenings, it's now a table saw.

The rosewood handle is undamaged, with only a few toolbox dings and some residual paint specks.

Medallion
 The medallion dates to the 1917-1940 period of Disston corporate history.

The Victory etch is post-1928 but before WWII, according to Erik von Sneidern, webmaster of the Disstonian Institute.
