28 inch blade, 6 points. Skew back. Condition of blade: straight and sharp, with a few minor pitted areas. Once owned and stamped several times by a "C.W. GAUBY."

The pre-1928 etch reads about as well as it shows in the image; the patent date is June 23rd, 1874.
