 This heavy duty Peck, Stow & Wilcox Company brace has
excellent rosewood handles and 100% nickel plating. There is a
spot of lost black oxide finish on the chuck shell, but the metal
plating under the pad and on the nose of the chuck are perfect.
The brace is mechanically as new. The ball bearing chuck has an
interesting feature to improve the alignment of the jaws. I have
not yet found a patent for this innovation, but there were other
similar efforts by Pexto ... seen elsewhere in these pages. |
