There are no operational or aesthetic issues with this brace, and it even retains 95% of its original nickel plating; the rosewood handles are in perfect condition, and it has never seen use with any round-shanked bits, judging from the lack of wrench scars on the shell of the chuck. Compare with B&D-125; in the few years between the dates of maufacture of tht brace and this one, Peck Stow & Wilcox added a screw to the body of the Peck & Powers chuck to reduce the risk of its jaws falling out.
